Follow Him
Follow Him! It’s a matter of F.A.I.T.H.
F is for Forgiveness. Everyone has sinned and is in need of God’s forgiveness.
All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.
~Romans 3:23 (NIV)
A is for Available. God’s forgiveness is available to all.
This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no on need be destroyed: by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life.
~John 3:16 (Message)
I is for Impossible. According to the Bible, it’s impossible to get to heaven on our own.
Saving is all his idea, and all his work. All we do is trust him enough to let him do it. It’s God’s gift from start to finish. We don’t play the major role. If we did, we’d probably go around bragging that we’d done the whole thing!
~John 3:16 (Message)
T is for Turn. Turn means “repent” – turn away from sin and self.
Unless you repent, you will all perish as well.
~John 13:3
HERE IS THE BEST NEWS OF ALL:
If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead,
you will be saved. With the heart one believes, resulting in righteousness,
and with the mouth one confesses, resulting in salvation.
~Romans 10:9-10
H is for Heaven. Heaven is a place where we will live with God forever.
If I go away and prepare a place for you, I will come back and receive you to Myself,
so that where I am you will be also.
~John 14:3
H also stands for How… How can a person have God’s forgiveness, eternal life, and heaven?
It’s by trusting Jesus as your Savior and Lord.
If you would like to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, pray a prayer like this asking Him for forgiveness and to come into your life:
“Lord Jesus, I confess to You that I am a sinner. I believe Jesus died for my sins and rose from the dead. The best way I know how, I ask You to forgive my sins, and I personally accept You as my Savior. From this moment on, I am going to depend on You for my salvation. Amen”
